This is an interesting reminder that was sent out to Medicare Fee-for-Service providers.
Only bill Medicare for the clinical lab tests performed in your lab. Do not submit charges to Medicare if you purchase the lab service from the clinical lab. The outside clinical lab must bill Medicare when it receives speci-mens drawn or collected in your office.
