The Portable X-Ray Transportation fees are changing as the result of the cost analysis of survey data. The 2021 fees will become effective after a 45-day notice period on February 23, 2021, for dates of service on or after January 1, 2021. Each CMS region has a different fee schedule amount. While some of the fee schedule amounts went up, some are locked in place until after the COVID-19 PHE. Please check with the MAC in your areas.
