The list of Telehealth services has grown with the pandemic. While new codes are being added, there are four that have been removed. The removed codes include— initial hospital care codes 99221, 99222, and 99223 along with 96121 for neurobehavioral status exam. The removal of these codes is retroactive back to January 1, 2021.
